My Ovarian Cancer Journey

Hey everyone. I know it's been a while since I have posted about my cancer journey. I was in a holding pattern for a while.   When I got back from my trip to Japan and Taiwan, I started my maintenance drug, Zejula. I've been on that just over a month now, but it seems to give me high blood pressure and insomnia. I don't have the common side effect of nausea, which is good. But these other two side effects aren't so great.   The doctor has suggested I pause taking it for 2 weeks and see how my blood pressure and sleep are affected. Then we will go from there. It might mean lowering my dose or doing something else.  I'll keep you posted.   I hope you are enjoying this beautiful spring day! Our spring here in WA is late - I'm still waiting to see buds on the trees... Some bulbs are starting to pop up. At least it's getting warmer.

Back at a Pokemon Regionals! It's been a while, but I'm so glad I'm feeling well enough to come and visit all of my Pokemon family 🥰🥰🥰   I was even able to help out the organizers today - something low key since I'm not getting enough sleep (side effects of my maintenance drug)... Other than feeling tired, it's been a great weekend so far!
