How much has changed in 1 year - July 11, 2023 (imported from Facebook)

Wow. A year ago I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.  After surgery and 6 rounds of chemo, I'm in remission 🥰  I'll be on a maintenance drug, Zejula, for about 2.5 more years. Bloodwork every 6 weeks for now...  Just a reminder to keep after the doctor if you don't feel right, or get a second opinion. The urgent care doc thought I had acid reflux...  I'm so grateful for my current care team making sure I will live a long life.  I'm enjoying the time traveling with my boys to the East Coast now and Asia next month. I'm really excited to be able to staff the Pokemon World Championships in Japan in August.  I've spent the past year reflecting on so much of my life. I'm taking the time to reach out to those that I haven't seen in a while (some for 20-30 years).  I've also come to appreciate what I have - an amazing husband, 2 wonderful sons, and an abundant caring network of family and friends.  Enjoy life.  Don't let opportunities pass you by....
