I received an amazing package today from another wonderful Pokemon family member, Stu Wilde - FYI, the Wilde Candies box arrived safe and sound. It's already been sampled and found delicious πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹   I'm not going to photo all of the goodies, don't want to make anyone jealous 😜

My eyes stand out - Sept 24, 2022 (imported from Facebook)

I was taking some pictures trying out different lip colors and I noticed how having no hair really makes my eyes stand out. 🀩   The chemo nurse yesterday also mentioned something about how bright my eyes are, and they are blue and green. I told her that they change colors based on the weather, more blue if it's sunny and more green if it's rainy.   BTW - I still have a few product tester openings if you want to test out the new lip products Color Street recently launched. Just let me know and I'll give you all the details πŸ₯°

Visitors! and Chemo #4 - Sept 23, 2022 (imported from Facebook)

Hey everyone! I know I haven't updated in a while, but it's because I've been feeling pretty good. I feel yucky the first week after chemo with the nausea and achy legs, but once that passes, I feel pretty much like my normal self.   I had some wonderful visitors last weekend, Cari Reed and Diana Black Shay . These two are friends starting from middle school and continuing beyond. The kind of friends that it doesn't matter the time apart, you pick it back up immediately where you left off. We gabbed, laughed, ate, walked some near Snoqualmie Falls, and went to a Wallaby and Kangaroo farm. The day of activities did wear me out, so I rested after they left. But that's ok. It was a good tired.   Chemo #4 went well today. I have two left - Oct 14 and Nov 4thπŸ€©πŸŽ‰  Then they will run tests, do some scans, and see if the cancer is all gone. Obviously it can come back, so they will put me on a maintenance drug (not sure which, but a parp inhibitor) after the last chemo...

Legs hurt again, but compression socks seem to help... Good thing I still have some from when I would wear them at Orangetheory 😜   Nausea has been bothering me some, especially in the middle of the night... Makes sleeping difficult 🀒   William Wen is still in Taiwan, helping Jack Wen get ready for college. They head to campus soon, and then we will see what his dorm and campus are like 🀩🀩🀩   Alex started school today, 10th grade 😱 Where has the time gone? 3 years left in HS then we are done!  Wil and I will downsize at that time and move somewhere interesting, or just travel a lot πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°   Some really awesome friends are coming to visit in less than two weeks ☺️☺️☺️ I can't wait to see Cari Reed and Diana Black Shay!  We have room if anyone else wants to come visit - we will have a party 🀣🀣🀣

Chemo #3 - Sept 2, 2022 (imported from Facebook)

Hey everyone. I know I haven't had an update in a while, but I've been feeling pretty normal. I just got home from my third chemo treatment, so I figured I would send a message.  Last time, I had a little bit of nausea the first few days after chemo, but it went away when I took the medicine. And then I had a few days of really achy leg muscles and joints. Nothing seemed to really help other than taking some oxycodone and Tylenol. I'm trying not to take very much medicine, so I would only take that in the evening so I would feel better to go to bed.   My blood work has been coming back looking great for being on chemo. My red blood cell count and my white blood cell count were both within a little bit of normal, so I have not had to have anything to fix those. πŸ₯°   After that first week or so after chemo, I really do feel pretty much my normal self. I just don't have any hair 😜   Since this is my third chemo, I only have 3 more scheduled. Hopefully ...
