Happy Thanksgiving everyone!   I have so much to be thankful for this year, especially finding and beating ovarian cancer!   I'm extremely grateful for all of my family and friends that helped out, checked in, brought over food or treats, sent food gift cards so it was easier on me while Wil was out of town. So many people sent gifts of all kinds.  I'm so grateful for all of you 🥰🥰🥰

Flights are booked for Jack to come home in January for a few weeks 🥰🥰🥰   Flights are also booked for us to go to Japan for a few days on our way back to Taiwan in February 🥰🥰🥰  Then I'll get to see his school and spend some time in Taiwan. Can't wait for all of the good food!   So glad that my cancer is in remission so life can get back to normal with fun travel plans 🥰🥰🥰

Coffee - Nov 8, 2022 (imported from Facebook)

When you get out of the house, you make a side trip to tell one of your favorite baristas that you are done chemo 🥰   Baristas are the main reason why I go to coffee shops, either Starbucks, Mercury's, or anywhere else. I will go out of my way to see the ones that I like.

Well, I'm done 🎉🎉🎉   I finished my 6th and final chemo today. Went the same as others, no complications.  I have been more tired as these go on, but now I should be back to normal within a few weeks...   My Cancer Antigen test result just came back at 8.2 🤩   Previous numbers: Cancer Antigen (CA) 125  7/11/2022 624.0 (H)  8/12/2022 71.6 (H)  9/23/2022 12.4  10/14/2022 9.9  11/4/2022 8.2   I am so happy to be done with this.  The next steps are to do some scans - a CT scan and a bone scan. The CT scan will be used to double check everything looks good in my abdomen and pelvis. I asked for the bone scan just to double check my bones since I have such aches the first week after chemo...   They are also doing some additional genetic testing on my blood. I don't have the BRCA gene mutations, but I do have some other ones.   They are also going to do some additional testing ...

Info about my port - Nov 1, 2022 (imported from Facebook)

Hey everyone.   I know I haven't updated since my last chemo, but it's been the normal cycle of aches, nausea and all that fun stuff the first week. Then just trying to stay away from germs, since my ability to fight off infection is low. I've been feeling pretty good. 🤗   I got another Covid booster, so this is my fifth. I got my fourth in August but it was not the new version. So they wanted me to get the new version as soon as I could. I have to time it around my chemo treatments so that if I have any side effects from the booster, I can recuperate before I have chemo and have all of those side effects, fun fun.   Detailed medical info coming if you are squeamish...   I wanted to share some information about my port. This is something that was new to me and there was lots of random information but not everything that I wanted to know in an easy to understand way.  So you'll kind of see me pointing out two scars, a larger (at the ring fing...
