Chemo Cycle 3, Infusion 2 (on Monday, Dec 4, 2023)
Hey everyone.
Infusion day 2 of cycle 3 was yesterday, so two of the three chemo drugs. Nothing special about yesterday. My white blood count was better, so thats always a good thing. I will still have to have Wil do those Granix shots for the next three days to keep it up...
No update from the doctor yet if we have 1 more cycle left, or more. The original plan was 4-6 cycles... So we will see what he says, I'm guessing after the next CA 125 blood marker is drawn, which should be on December 18th.
I do have some things planned, my positive looking forward to things :)
1. The first is staffing the Pokemon Regionals in Portland, OR the first weekend of January. Even if we need to do a 5th cycle, that weekend would be almost two weeks after my 2nd infusion of cycle 4, so I should be at the best health and mobility possible during a cycle.
2. The second is Jack visiting from college in Taiwan! He will be home mid-January until mid-February. So I'm sure we will see a lot of our friends in the area while he is home.
3. I'm hoping to staff at the Pokemon Regionals in Vancouver, BC in March. I'll be there even if I don't.
4. I'm also hoping to staff at the Pokemon European International Championships (EUIC) in London in April - I'll only go if I am able to staff. I've never been to London, so it would be an amazing opportunity. Alex's spring break is the week after EUIC, so if possible, he will fly over and meet me so we can do touristy stuff that week. I might stop in Iceland at go the Blue Lagoon on my way to London, take a day to relax in the waters.
